Hopefully you have access to an ocean, one of the Great Lakes or a river with glassy standing waves to enjoy the thrill of surfing one of these boats. X-Ray by Mega Surf Kayaks
Based upon the Awesome "Revenge" Composite surf kayak the X-Ray 2005 has been tweaked and scaled up for production in High density polyethylene to produce a truly superb Hard Core Surf Kayak. This is a no compromise machine, hard rails and razor sharp secondary release rail. With virtually no hull flex the performance of the polyethelene X-Ray is comparable with that of its composite roots the "Revenge".
Significant entry rocker allows for those super late ,steep takeoffs and the low volume ends allow for rodeo style transitional moves.

Element by Fluid Kayaks
What can I say, this boat looks awesome. It looks exactly like I wanted it. I know this boat is going to rip, I'm sure you will agree when you see the pics. The Element will be available in four colours, like all our boats. Yellow, orange and red, which are the standard colours. The fourth colour, which is a different special colour for every model, will be white for the Element. Look at these pics below and tell me it doesn't look sexy.
Also note the fins. I developed an adjustable fin system a few years ago, and recently started looking for a new supplier of fins. As it turned out, I found a company who developed adjustable fins too, and took it one step further. Their fins can have their toe in or toe out adjusted, like the original Flirt system, but the fins can also move forward and back a bit. On top of that, they have different fin disks that allow different splay angles too. Have a look at their website, www.4wfs.com.
The Element in the pics below is a pre-production model, we have to do some final tuning of the mould this week before we can start popping production boats out. The first boats will be shipped to SA dealers in the next week or two, while North America, Europe and Australia will receive their first Elements sometime in February.
This is a Medium Element. We haven't done any work yet on a Small or Large version. We might consider different sizes later, but for now, there will only be a Medium.

Nemesis by Fluid Kayaks
The Nemesis is an exciting new rodeo/freestyle boat from Fluid. It is not a surf boat but hey, we'll bend the rules evry now and then. (And, I know this thing surfs.) The Nemesis is stocked mainly for our local whitewater jocks who aren't quite into the pure surf scene like the rest of us are but who like to play in the water nonetheless.
