Dakib

Dakib is an Ojibwe word meaning "cold water". Dakib is a film about whitewater kayaking the steep, cold rivers of the Lake Superior Region. The film focuses on a group of Minnesota kayakers over a paddling season and the connection that we've come to know and depend on during these trips. The whitewater action begins on the class IV & V rivers of Lake Superior's North Shore.

Also featured in the film is a no holds barred, downriver race on the Lower St. Louis River, freestyle kayaking in Manitoba and some steep creeking in Montana, Idaho and Wyoming.
